Word of Mouth Wins The Day

I have (finally) fallen on my feet in the world of work!

Having decided that maybe I couldn't make the gardening business a financially viable option, I swallowed my pride and applied for an office job - something I've always vowed wasn't for me. During the interview we happened to discuss that I was a gardener and that the owners of the site were looking for.... yep, you guessed it...a gardener!

The very next day I found myself knee deep in nettles and grasses whilst the owner of the 14 hectare garden quizzed me on plant names and techniques. I guess it's a question of building up trust with my new client. The work so far has consisted of preparing overgrown borders for new planting but as the trust increases I'm sure that they'll have me doing all sorts of work.

There's more work in this garden than I could've possibly dreamt of and I'm going to be kept quite busy, especially as I've got a few other, smaller jobs to fit in too.

On top of that, I also took the office job so I'm pretty much working a full week and then some. I just need to see some of the money now!
